Some of you may be thinking - "what the heck is she talking about?" According to dictionary.com:
"Chevrons are a style of pattern with inverted “V”’s that repeat and interlock".
You may also know them to be referred to as herringbone, herringbone weave, or chevron weave. Personally, I like Chevrons - and I can’t stop thinking about them!
I have been wanting for years to incorporate a chevron design into my home. Recently, I thought I finally had the opportunity. My husband and I are in the process of finally getting some renovation work done on our home. Currently it’s our master bedroom and bathroom getting all the attention. I have been aching as to what tile and tile pattern I want in my master bathroom. I was truly hoping to introduce a chevron pattern tile design in there somewhere, but sadly with the tile selections I’ve made it just won’t work - at least I don’t think it will. Keep an eye out on my IG stories for updates - @designsbydva.
Sooooo - since it doesn’t look like I will be having any chevron pattern in my master bath, for now at least - I thought I would share my inspiration photos with you. So if you love chevrons as much as I do - sit back and enjoy!
